Is it possible to actually have a strategy these days. I’m looking at an article that talks about the president of the United States and his strategy. I thought a strategy was supposed to be something that no one else knew about. In other words you execute on something and you do not tell anyone else what you are doing. However I guess these days you can see exactly what people are doing. For example you can see that the number one registrar gives out a GoDaddy promo code to provide customers with a great discount. If your competitor of theirs you see what they are doing and you can do the same thing. Just like a strategy of a politician. So I guess in these days it becomes much more difficult to execute on a strategy than to actually have a strategy. In other words everyone sees what you’re strategy is the question is who can execute it on it better than anyone else. So I guess a strategy changes with time because some people have them in some people do not. If you do not have one you can basically get it from someone else. In other words you can see what others are doing online.
